My name is Judith Mutinda. I am the founder and CEO of Gilgal Springs Foundation. I am a teacher by profession. I have a degree in ECPE (Early Chilhood and Primary Education), Curriculum implementation and Mathematics as a teaching subject. Currently I am a government teacher.

Despite being a widow eight years now my humble beginnings help me find more satisfaction in serving disadvantaged children and vulnerable marginalized groups in my community. My partnership with Zidisha has always empowered me to achieve the objectives of my business in provision of education, skills and knowledge to the needy and at the same empower the vulnerable groups of people.

Hope you will enjoy walking together with me for the better of one or more soul in need.

Feel free to Google Gilgal Springs Foundation to know more about my work.

My business is a school. It is called Gilgal Springs Academy for the Disadvantaged children and vulnerable groups of people in the community.

I will buy hand washing equipments, masks and sanitizers for the grade 4 pupils in the school.

In Kenya the school have started resuming in stages. Currently we are having grade 4 and standard eight. In Gilgal Springs Academy we do not have std eight but have grade four. These are the pupils that we are buying the sanitation equipment to prevent Covid-19 for them. Most children are from the pre urban areas of Isinya where parents have been strongly been affected by the Corona effects. Most of their parents have lost their jobs.

It is now our responsibility as a school to have them fit in the ministry of education current rules and regulations.

We hope we will assist the children to match the standards of government schools around so that our school can not be closed and leave the children suffering again. We are hoping to at least reach the expectations of the ministry though it is expensive. It's my appeal once again to my zidisha lenders to help me achieve the school objectives.
