My name is Liza Achieng, 24, a single mum of one daughter, currently 3 years old. I reside in Utawala region of Nairobi, Kenya. Growing up as a child, I battled countless struggles, a total orphan who's now a product of people's good will.
I joined Kobila Primary School in Homabay County in 2007, before moving to Nairobi in 2013, where I finally accomplished my basic education in 2015, at Ofafa Jericho Primary School.
In 2016, I joined Shiners Girls High School in Nakuru, where I passed my final year exams with flying colors, being a bright student. It's during this time in high school that I developed enthusiasm for fashion and and trends, something I love wholeheartedly.
After high school, I was unlucky to join campus. My dreams felt shattered and my hopes dead. The burden was further seemingly unbearable when I conceived, a situation that left me broken into pieces, with no real sense of direction.
Despite all the hardships, I refused to be pinned down by temporary life situations. I soldiered on resiliently, fiercely and unapologetically beating the societal expectations; a young enthusiastic lady, hungry for success.
Fast forward, I have been able to learn basic life skills, sustaining me and my daughter as I work tirelessly to build a strong foundation of a worthwhile life ahead of us, free from poverty and struggle. There's hope. However, I know it's only possible through love, support and unity.
It's my humble request to everyone reading this, to help me achieve this noble course. Thanks.
My business is about sales of ladies clothes which are fast moving in the highly populated city of Nairobi.
I operate from my house, utilizing online platforms to the best of my knowledge to get customers and dispatch the ordered goods wherever they are; after which they make their payments upon delivery.
I chose this businesses because I developed a strong, irresistible desire to venture into fashion and design world, something I believe I shall expand into a big venture someday.
It's from the sales of these products which I'm able to fend for myself, paying my bills as I gradually grow.
I therefore request you all to walk this journey with me, as I am ready to walk with everyone else in this wonderful family. Thanks.
I will use the funds to expand my business
I will be able to benefit by getting more profits from the business to support myself also the business will be supporting my family and my community at large
Good quality attires
