My name is Oluwaseun Ilori, I’m 23 years old from Nigeria. I studied Physics at the university Ibadan where I developed a strong interest in problem solving and entrepreneurship. Growing up, I always admired the resilience of local traders in my community and that inspired me to start my own business.

Today, I deal in the buying, storage and sale of grains such as beans, millet and maize. I purchase in bulk during harvest seasons when the prices are lower, store the grains properly and sell them later for a profit. This has helped me support myself and contribute to my local economy.

My goal is to grow my business, improve food availability and eventually create job opportunities for others.

I run a grain trading business where I buy and store grains like maize, beans and millet during harvest seasons and sell them later at a profit. These grains are always in high demand as they are staple foods in Nigeria. I started this business to support local farmers and to create a reliable income for myself.

My main costs include purchasing grains, transportation and storage. Profits are reinvested to grow the business and to support my living expenses. With Zidisha funding, I plan to expand by buying more stock, increasing profits and serving more customers effectively.

I buy and store bags of grains like maize and millet and sell during the harvest season for a profit. My major costs are transportation of the grains from the market square to the warehouse where I store them and buying of pesticides to preserve them.
