Iam Christian born 1979 a luhya by tribe and i was raised by a single parent, after my dad pass away my mother fought very hard to make sure that i have get good education and she enroll me to nursery in 1985 and later on the following year i join class one and continue my education till the time i attain my primary certificate and join goseta sec sch in 1995 and i was lucky with talent of playing football and luckily sch sponsored me with bursary till 1998 when i did my kcse that is final secondary exam. am married ,and i have three kids a boy and two daughters .i was raised in hardship situation and i am used in any circumstance that i will find my self in and believe trial are there to harden us i will persevere and deal with it.i started my business when i saved twenty thousand and started later small hotelin kitale. We people of kitale we cultivate lot of cereals and people here believe eating ugali they believe ugali gives strength . My boy what to be an engineer,one of my girls want to be a lawyer and the other want to be a pilot.I like praying for people who are in need and visiting sick in hospital SHARING THE WORD OF God and praying for them
We cook food like githeri chips porridge mandazi ugali and stew chapati and sell for mostly student and workers.people here like this types of food so it is in demand.i chose this business because getting job in kenya is not easy so at least i can do something to provide for the family. my cost and revenue i can say that can not sustain us because due to life pro proliferation life is so hard .I save part of the profit and spent the other for needs like school fees i and other needs.it hard to invest but we do what we can to see the coming five years we will be somewhere.
five sacks of maize 121.360 us d sack of rice4000 us d half sack of beans3000 us d sack of sugar5000 us d and etc,i think this will give me chance of saving and i will see how much i will have without spending to much buying from retailer. with this i think when the price of maize and beans increase i will not spent a lot of money ,Retailer most of the time do increase the price of grocery product and this makes us not to get profit as expected am certain if i get this money will real improve my business and youth that are not employ will get opportunity to be employ and i will create more jobs in the community .am expecting that this money will give the business to run well due to the stock that will be available when the price of maize and other product increase and i think this will increase by 40% profit
