My name is Samuel Yeboah and I am from Wenchi B/A Brong Ahafo Region in Ghana. I settled in Accra 15 years ago together with my wife and 2 kids. I came to Accra purposelessly for trading so that I would be able to look after my children and give them all the necessary support to acquire better qualifications, because I did not have the opportunity due to a poor family background.

Today technology and education has become very important; therefore, I have a purpose in mind to educate my children to a high level of education so that they will be learned and get better jobs in the near future. To fulfill this dream, I have a role to play as a father to help my children to acquire good qualifications and skills. This achievement deserves more money at this point in time.

So, I started a trade with a very small amount of money, but later I discovered that before I can succeed it will require more capital. Things were very difficult from early stages: how to start and where to find starting capital was a challenge. I experienced many difficulties, but, God so good, my prayers were answered when a friend recommended Zidisha. I saw it as an opportunity, as a result, and I believe with the help of Zidisha, I will excel.

Food retail and the supply of health products is my main business. I have been doing this for the past three years, and I am very proud because I earn more profit through daily sales. I consider it my main job and I do it full of passion, determination and focus, and by so doing I am able to take very good care of my family.

I have a vision: to open one more branch at another community in the near future, so that I can employ 2 or 3 people to work there. I believe this vision is achievable with help and support from the Zidisha loan program. I am very happy with my current loan because it will increase my working capital therefore my profit margin will also increase.

Part of the loan will go into the supply of health products because they're also in high demand due to a recent health awareness program in Ghana. More foodstuff is needed in the shop because my community is growing in population; therefore, customers are also increasing each day. I must render good service to help my customers get whatever they need to buy.

This time, if by God's grace I am able to earn more profit, I will use some of the profit to help my Church, taking care of my family and also help the needy, children's home in my community to be priority.

Football is my hobby, but due to time factors I only watch it on TV.

I will use the money to trade by adding it to my capital, i will purchase items like Tomatoes puree, Bags of rice, Cooking oil, soft Drinks,i will add wine this time because my customers are demanding and i believe that this will increase my profit margin that will be a benefit to me and my family because part of the profit will be use for housekeeping.

My customers will also be happy because they will get almost what they need from the shop.

I will also make sure that weekly repayment will be on time.
