I was born in Bondo, Siaya County of Kenya; I'm from a family of six siblings, myself being the third born. Growing up, I started my schooling at Nyamira Primary School in 2005, where I graduated in 2013, before joining Got Agulu Boy's High School in 2014, graduating in 2017. Thereafter, I joined Vera Beauty College for a short course in 2018, which went for six months; growing my skills in handling beauty services to a range of clients. This was the foundation of a life based on strong entrepreneurial success, since I had a dream of operating my beauty shop someday.
In 2019, I moved to Nairobi, where I landed my first job as a beautician assistant, further sharpening my skills with hands-on experience. I worked tirelessly until 2023, when I left in good faith to open my own shop. Fast forward, I've built a strong customer base, a milestone I'm so proud to have achieved. I'm currently looking forward to expand this venture, creating employment opportunities for other young people aiming to grow their talents.
My business is one dealing with service provision in beauty such as manicure, pedicure, makeup application among others. As time goes by, I look forward to expand this into other services like hairdressing and haircut, owing to the large marketability volume of these services especially in a highly populated city like Nairobi, where I'm based. I'm requesting everyone in this noble community to join me in bringing this dream to a reality.
As my beauty services expand, I'd like to deploy other service providers to operate mobile bookings. These funds will help me purchase necessary equipment and fund their movements from one place to another. This will increase my earnings, boosting my livelihood, that of my family too, as the community enjoys from good services and employment.
