I'm 34 years old living in Tanga City, Tanzania. I'm married to a single beautiful wife with two beautiful daughters. I pursue my education at all levels except Bachelor Degree here in Tanga, and so I have enough knowledge of my surroundings and its people. I always had interest to empower people, especially women in poverty eradication and bring about sustainability of life in my community.
Five years ago, I initiated the project of producing ice lollies and ice blocks. With the help of SIDO I managed to acquire important skills on how better to perform and improve my project. Now in collaboration with five other people we are selling best products and manage to withstand competition. We are also, providing classes for five people every month through platform like WhatsApp on how to make ice lollies so as to elevate their standard of life.
Currently, I face several challenges such as power back generator during power cut off, enough tools such as freezers and ice lollies making machine as well as motorcycle.
The fund requested is important to my project, as it's expected to improve distribution channels and delivery to consumers which means more income to my family and community where the project is held.
