Doreen Tembo is my name, a mother of 4 childen . I live in Chaisa Compound located in Lusaka.I come from a humble background. I have a poor education background because while growing up then, I grew up with Auntie and Uncles only, who could not afford to pay for school fees. Being a double orphaned child, it was hard for me to cope with life. I grew up with many challenges and difficulties such that accessing good life with essential basis needs was very hard. Sometimes I could spent nights in the streets looking for food. After many huddles and struggles in my life , I kept on hustling to shape my life for the better. One day, while hustling with multiple jobs like cleaning in markets and people's clothing, I met a good Samaritan woman who connected me to a maid center where I started acquiring training skills as a house helper. I did the training for 6 months and I was awarded a certificate to work any where as a maid or house helper, until I started saving some money to start up my own business. I grew up with the passion of plating different hair styles in my community, hence after years of working hard, I manged to raise some income and opened a salon shop where I provide salon services to people especially the female folk in our community and earn good revenue. In my free time, I help my children with school work because my desire is to have my children get better education they need to become better people in society and look after me when I grow old.
I own a salon shop in our community, I need funds to help me buy the salon equipments in the shop. As you can see in my shop, there is need for me to improve the services by having the right salon equipment to attract customers and generate good revenue. I choose salon business because it is my passion and the talent that is in me as an dresser, I have been making people's hair look nice and beautiful. I acquired the skill of plating hair since I was a small girl and out of it , I earned good income. Hence I intend to expand the shop and salon equipment to allow more customers and provide quality services to them in our community. There are a few salon shops hence the demand for customers coming to the services in the salon is very high and that requires additional capital to improve services and expand the business and earn more revenue. Therefore, the profits made shall be used to expand the shop and help my children further their education and pay them school fees and home improvement
Funds needed , is to buy hair salon equipments to improve service delivery to my customers. I need to buy the nice salon chairs and dressing mirrors and salon equipments enhance quality service to my and generate more revenue and support my children. My community will be impacted by providing good hair salon services and make ups especially the ladies and women who beauty parlour services
