My name is Alice chumo from from Kericho county.I was born and raised up in village called Sotit untill I got married to my husband who lives in Kimulot where I hails and doing my business there.

The very challenge I came across was that I didn't further my education after completing primary school because of lack of school fees yet I wanted so much to continue with my education till I completed university. So after dropping from school I didn't want my siblings also to drop out, so I decided to ask my parents to allows me to search for job to assist them on the other hand to pay school fees for my young siblings. I was able to secure a job a waiter in certain restaurant.While I was off I used to visit my friend who had a saloon and she was teaching me how to braid until I got skills and experience. After a while my brother completed university and was able to secure job and was able to join my parents pay school fees for other siblings and so I got married.

I am married and have three children, two boys and a girl.I am struggling so hard to get my children education and better future unlike what I went through, I am aiming to make a better future for them.

During my leisure time I gardening, doing chess and strategic games,Cooking at home and volunteering.

I am a saloonist and doing beauty therapy. I off service of braiding,pedicure, manicure and messaging. I also sells goods concerning saloon and beauty.

I will use the loan not only restocking my stock but also invest in high margin service that keeps client come back.

I chose to run this business because I had passion for doing this kind of business and it is earning me my daily income.

I will use the profits to buy my own plot,pay school fees for my children and siblings and invest.
