My names are Oscar Masika wasilwa from Brigadier market in Kenya. Am a technician and I do repair radios and anything to do with electronics. I gradually emerged an expert in this field after thorough training from my uncle. The funny aspect of my story is that I have never undergone any professional training related to my career. Apart from this, also cook "mandazi" and sell at a profit. Am determined in life and I make sure I do anything that can benefit my family. Education is very important because with only the basic education level, one can still succeed in life without necessarily having to further education. Am not advocating for illiteracy but sometimes money dictates a lot . With the little education I have, I can comfortably do simple mathematics, calculate change and profit /loss. I like farming and a day rarely passes without a visit to the shamba even if it means little work. I have a gym in my house and doing daily exercises is my hobby. I have always admired to be whole-round person and serve my country to the fullest of my ability

I commit three quarters of my time in baking 'mandazi' because most people take breakfast with mandazis. I usually wake up at 5am, prepare mandazi and start my journey. I distribute many parts of Sango, Brigadier and many other shops and by 8am am through with my business. I also do technical repairs on part-time basis. I usually use my bicycle when distributing my goods but am targeting a motorcycle to make my work a bit easier. My daily expenses include buying baking flour, cooking oil and baking powder

I would like to use my loan if fully funded as follows :

1. Buy twenty 2kg packets of baking flour at ksh1800 (18 dollars) .

Each 2kg packet costs ksh90 at wholesale price

2. one jerrican (10litre) which costs ksh1500.(15 dollars)

Total :- 3,300 KES or 33 dollars
