My name is Kadiatou T. Traore, my friends call me Kadi. I was born in Gaoua, in the Poni province, part of the Southwestern region of Burkina Faso. However, I grew up in the region of waterfalls, specifically in the city of Banfora. It is also in Banfora that I started going to primary school in 1998. I obtained my first degree in the primary school of Flantama in 2004 in order to get into middle school. Thereafter, I went to the Saint Theresa High School of Banfora but I stopped during the last year of high school. I am the eldest of a family of four, and I am not yet married and do not have any children.
In relation to my activities, I am employed as a salesperson. I sell several types of grains, seeds and nuts, such maize, shea seeds, sesame, and cashews. This is a very difficult job that requires physical strength, so I am helped by a cousin who goes to the villages around Banfora, such as Mangodara, Torokoro, Madiasso, etc. to select products, buy them and transport them to Banfora. Once the merchandise is there, I stock it in a shop I am renting and I sell it wholesale to retailers and retail to other customers. This business is going well because I make a profit of 1,000 francs on every bag of maize, 750 francs on cashews and often 1,200 francs on shea seeds. A loan would enable me to buy more inventory at a good price and avoid problems resulting from products being out of stock.
Dear lenders
As an activity, I am a merchant. I sell several types of grains including corn, shea nuts, sesame, cashew. This is a very difficult activity that requires physical strength and for that I got assisted by my cousin who makes the trip in the surrounding villages of Banfora as Mangodara, Torokoro, Madiasso .... with a view to identifying , pay, collect and find a truck to transport up to Banfora. Once the goods are there I proceeded to storage in a warehouse that I rented and I make the sale is wholesale from select retailers or details for all consumers. It is an activity that works well because I realize $ 2 USD profit in the bag but sold $ 1.8 USD profit on the bag of cashews and often profit $ 2.5 USD for a bag of shea nuts sold . Given my limited resources, funding of $ 450 USD which I seek from you will allow me to pay for benefit and alleviate the problems out of stock. thank you
