My name is Precious Yohanna, I was born in a village called Saba in Yola Northern Nigeria. I am the first daughter of 3 siblings.
I enrolled in nursery school, then I proceeded to primary school and secondary school and then later enrolled in the Polytechnic where I studied Administration. I graduated with my HND and I am grateful for that.
I came from a humble family, my parents didn't have much but they did their best to ensure that I and my siblings get educated. My father works as a security guard and my mom sold at the main market. Their combined efforts trained me in school which gave me the opportunity to start a life. As the first born of the family, I had to work at a few jobs to save money to start a business as the responsibility of my younger ones rely on me.
I started business after I completed my education, I enrolled for baking classes where I was though how to make pastries like cake, bread, doughnuts and small chops.
I reside in Rimi and people here celebrate a lot so they require these baked goods for their events and occasion.
My favorite hobbies are listening to music, watching movies and knitting.
My dream has always been to own my own bakery and cater to the needs of my customers. After I went through baking classes I gather a little capital and rented my bakery. The name of my bakery is Precious Sweets and Treats. I bake and sell bread for daily consumption, cakes for events and small chops.
I have walk-in customers who patronize my business daily and get various products. Business has been interesting and I am happy to be living my dream.
Right now I want to buy an industrial oven that will help me increase my output. I don't want to just depend on customers coming to my bakery, I also want to distribute my bread to shops around the city and increase my footprint and profits.
An oven will help me hire staff and bake especially bread faster so that I can start distribution. I have big plans to my business and I am committed to working had to achieve my dreams
