My name is Jefita Daka a farmer and an entrepreneurs in vegetable crops and maize. I'm a father of 5 children . I completed my education successfully year ago. Employment was a big challenge for me years when I completed school. Hardship came through lack of employment or any business was doing by that time. I came out of poor and lack through great advise by my late uncle who advise me and support me by borrowing me some funds to venture into farming business. After some hard work and sacrifice in the farming project I managed to achieve my dream in my farming business. However, my major dream is to support my children and have better education and also encourage them to venture into farming as it is a reliable business to do. I spend time in the fields to ensure my crops are doing very well and that's how I spend my leisure time.

I grow vegetables such cabbages, rape , lattice, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes and maize crops. These vegetables I sale them on daily basis and the demand is very high. Currently the funded I need to transport the cabbages to market they very much ripe and ready for consumption. I need at least ZMW 8000 to hire a canter truck to transport 2000 heads of cabbages to City Market in Lusaka where the market is readily for sale. From 2000 heads of cabbages I'm expected to realize ZMW 25,0000 as profits from the heads of cabbages.

I need the funds to help me buy the drip pipes for irrigation system to be watering the vegetable crops at my vegetable gardens. Have been having challenges when it comes to watering the crops hence I even use a horse pipe to water the crops. The drip pipes will allow the vegetable crops to grow with a good yield for sale and make more revenue.
