My name is Misheck Simpamba the first born from Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Judith Simpamba. I live in Zambia compound in town of Mazabuka in Southern Province of Zambia where I grew up. I grew up with both my parents who were working at Zambi Suqar Company and were farmers. I went to Hamoonga Primary School and later qualified to Magoye Secondary School where I completed my Secondary School in grade 12.
Growing with my parents as boy I was taught life skills especially farming as a source of income, I started the farming business because of the inspiration I got from my parents. They taught that in farming business you will feed yourself and the nation. I was taught that in all world there is that can beat farming because farming as a source of food security.
When I get married in future, I wish to guide my children to venture into farming and attain the best education and grow in knowledge.
When free I take time to read agriculture books and understand fully and how to take farming seriously and grow big in future.
I need to helped with the funds from Zidisha backers because I want to buy the Drip Pipe Irrigation Method of watering the crops at the farm. This Drip pipes will cost me ZMW 15,000.00 to cover 5 to 7 hectares of land where am farming. The idea of these installing the drip piping is for winter maize and vegetable because I go grow crop for sale through out the year. I desired to go into farming because of the great inspiration I had from my parents who were once upon time farmers, because of great achievements I saw in parents, I was indeed left with no choose but to venture into farming after completing my grade 12. So far I have yielded great achievements in this project. Am able to pay for myself tuition fees Monze School of Agriculture and able to buy other farming inputs am able to afford through profits earned and also able to support my family with food and financial support. In addition to that through this project, I created also employment to my fellow youths in our community.
Due to challenges of water caused by drought, I opted to drill the borehole at my farm and for this reason, I need the funds to help purchase the Drip pipes which I need to install at the farm for easy watering of the crop and have a production of crops for sale.
