I am a Zambian, male, born on 13th March, 1987 and married with two kids a boy and girl.

Being first born from a family of eight, my parents straggled to see me get educated. This wasn't easy as I grew up because not only me hoped to benefit from a single salary that dad raised.

I worked so hard at school never to disappoint my parents as this was the only way to make sure he was compensated for his efforts.

After obtaining good qualifications at secondary school, I got into college to pursue Electrical Engineering where I found a great challenge, but it was time for me to face it. With the basic knowledge i learnt already, I could manage to do piece work's which helped me raise funds to gather some of the materials i needed in school.

After performing well in my first term, I was awarded a bursary which relieved my dad off his duty and to concentrate on the rest.

In 2009, I entered society with already a mind of self-employment. But i got a three-month contract with Zambia Sugar Plc after which managed to buy a few basic tools for my private jobs.

Since then I have only managed my family with these private jobs. My family has been my encouragement and i take pleasure to raise my children in this fighting spirit. I see my girl doing medicine and boy becoming an Engineer.

My businesses involves the carrier I particularly took at college. This includes installation of electrical and electronic equipment, house wiring, electrical fence wiring, industrial and domestic equipment repair and general domestic appliances repair.

I particularly chose to do this business knowing that construction, innovation and structure development will always take place hence my services will always be required.

The small profits raised from this business are basically for school fees for the kids and up keep for the family which includes rentals.

This loan amount will be for the purchase of an insulation resistance tester which I have been lacking in order to carry out specialised tasks. Later on this equipment is will enable me win Biger tasks which in turn will yield a good profits margin hence will facilitate a double capital base as projected.

The equipment is for about $280 but available on easy installment agreeable terms. With this projection am hoping to rise my profits to double hence be in position to employ others.
