I am Robert Tambro I come from Upper West Region of Ghana. A town in Upper West call Natogambia. I was born in Wa but I live in Obuasi a suburb call Anyinam. My father was a village farmer. That means that things was not good for me at all. Even though some farmers are rich and well to do but my case was not like that. Things were seriously hard for me. Paying my school fees was a big problem and a burden to my family.
Things were hard but I had to chance to go to Senior High School in the Upper West Region. I completed in the year 2002. After my completion my parents had now become old and they could not afford to send me to tertiary institution. That was where the hardship began again. My year mate were all in tertiary institutions but my case was not like that. So I had to enter into business so that I can survive.
During my secondary school time I studied some I.T related courses so I decided to apply it. First I was given an internet cafe to operate that is where I had the experience in the field.
I also enrolled in computer Training institution called Bertinab I.T Training Center at Techiman B/A. It is a 6 months course under internet. so I was able to complete the computer training.
So after the course I decided to open my own branch that is internet cafe. Though I did not have many computers there but I had a least 10 pieces of computers that I started with. My parents were surprise with my hard work because sometimes I had to sleep in the small store just because i did not want to loose any of my items.
I really thank God for changing my life I did not know things will be this way. I will say that by his grace my life has changed.
I now sell computer and accessories in front of my internet cafe. I have a lot of plans to expand my internet cafe and also establish a computer school.
Africa is a place with diverse cultures. Since culture is the way we do things, the way we live and the way we dress, eat etc is culture. There are a lot of festivals that we celebrate but some cultures are very difficult to practice. I am still single but some day to come I will marry and I will like my kids to get better schools to attend.
The internet cafe has really help me a lot to take care of myself and my parents. The operating internet cafe is a booming business in my area. and computer hardware. I also provide other services like repairs, sales of computer parts, and render services to other cooperate institutions.
Some of the computer accessories that are in high demand are pen drives, smart cards, SD cards, Hard disk drives, Monitors, joysticks etc.
Internet is my thing so when I went into that business because the interest was already there things are going on successfully for me. . I mostly spend much of my valuable time using the internet. I can say I get profit a lot from it. I am now able to take care of my siblings and parents who are no more working. There is a university close to my internet cafe and the students are coming there all the time. Since everybody nowadays want to use the net to browse for information not all of them gets access to the net. Those who cannot afford to buy the device to get the net will rather to your place.
The guys around where I live have a keen interest in internet games. When I started the internet cafe I realized that it was good for me to add photocopy, lamination documents and other online registrations American lottery, external examination etc. That one too is helping me to get a lot of customers.
In fact I get a lot of profit. I will like to expand in future to another good location but I want to expand my profit margin first before I think about establishing another one.
Some the profit I get are I used to expand my business and some also are also use to improve my living condition.
I am also helping my sisters and my brothers. You in Africa we practice extended family when things are good for you the family members tend to give their burdens to you to shoulder.

I also run cybercafe including computer training and computer services.
I will use the loan to buy the following items
Screen filters to reduce eyes problems 10 pieces cost $30,
External webcams 8 pieces which cost $21.16
Headset 10 pieces cost $79.36
Computer keyboards which cost $14.10
Sound cards which cost $20.50
I will use some of the money to buy some items for my internet cafe and also improve on my branding.
Since the internet is information superhighway this will go a long way to help the youth to seek for information all the time and always be abreast with current information around the world
