It saddens me all the time when I see my colleagues with their parents. My schools days were not in any way a bad one. I used to be first in my class I remember my auntie used to buy toffees for me when I get the first or second position just to motivate me to do best next time.
I was able to complete school with good passes. But because of financial constraints I couldn't continue to tertiary.
I decided to go into I.T field. So I got myself enrolled in NIIT Tamale I was able to graduate with a diploma in Networking System.
I decided to go into internet cafe. I am now operating internet cafe with the help of my uncle who is based in the USA who helped me with an amount to setup a business venture.
Our land is very unique there are lots of interesting places to visit in our area. We also have a very unique cultural heritage. Kente is our traditional costume we used for all traditional activities.
My children I will train them to become doctors, nurses or teachers.
I used to play ludu a lot. This is not a local game but a very unique game. You throw a dice on the surface of the glass you have the probability of getting 6,5,2,4 etc. In fact it is a nice game.
I operate Internet cafe and other services which include computer repairs, networking of computers and other sales of computer accessories.
Computer services are very demanding example repairs of computers and sales of accessories. Most people need these services in order to bridge the digital divide.
I chose this business because it is very lucrative venture.
My typical cost that I used to established this venture was GH¢9000.
I get a revenue of GH¢700.00 a month sometimes GH¢800.00.
I used some to re-invest in business and part of it to settle some bills such as water bills, light bills etc.
I will use the loan to purchase the following items:
A set of headset with microphones which will cost $25
Mini speakers and external web cams which will cost around $10
Most of my clients who comes there complains of no web cams and headset that is drawing back my customers.My profit will increase. People will be able to use skype and others.
My profit will increase GH¢800.00 per week.
