Mary Neequaye is my name. l am 23years old. l am from Manhean a town in Greater Accra region in Ghana.
I grew up with five siblings and had to leave junior high school at the age of 17 because l was prangnant and the guy said he is not the one . later, l gave birth to baby boy and he is now five years old.l tried to get a job to look for myself and my child but l was unable to find a job. For two years l remained unemployed, depending on my parents for housing and food. When my mother discovered hairdresser Apprenticeship Program, l quickly enrolled.
l received training for three years, under the guidance of a ‘trademaster’, who taught me the business skills needed to set up a hair salon, ranging from record keeping to customer care.My hobbies are reading books,dancing and travelling.

l established my own hairdressing business with the help from my small savings and my mother. Owning a hairdressing salon has enabled me to earn a stable income of around GHS 60 (A$35) a day, which has changed my life and send my child to school. l am glad l am self employed and l can contribute to my family's livelihood. when l get the loan l will reinvest into the business so that my profit will increase and repay my loan from the profit.
Thank you Lenders.Thank you zidisha.l am grateful for the first loan l took from you.l used my first loan to buy a salon drier and sink and now l need an additional two. l will use the loan to buy two drier equipment and chair.I will used GHC1000($297) for the drier and GHC262($77) for chairs.This will be very useful as l will be able to have more income and increase my clients.These will enable me to serve my customers more efficiently and will help me provide quality services and also help me to increase my profit so that l will continue educate my child who said he wants to be a medical doctor in future.
