My name is Ruth Chitentabunga the first born in the family of 4 girls and I boy. I am 34 years old. I completed school through hard ships and struggles to raise money to pay for my schools. My father did not have a good well job and my mother was just a business seller whose efforts was just hand to mouth. I grew up with keen interest to work hard in my life to uplift the live style of my family. Despite hard time I kept on fighting to better the foundation of my education until I completed my secondary school with good school results. After completing school I favored with a job , I worked in a auto shop selling motor vehicle parts as a sales lady . I work for 3 years and I did prove to be a good sales lady and I promoted to be a supervisor among my friends. While at school , I the passion of entrepreneur ship business because of business studies subject I was studying especially commerce. Having this great passion , I have always wanted to born own boss. Currently I have a small auto shop which I ran and I want to grow the business. Having a poor background in which I raised in our family, it is my desire to have my own children get better education today. During my free time , I take time to study in the Library , preparing for final examination at the university of Zambia as I am a student of civil engineering.
I ran a small auto shop business in the central business of town, I sale spare parts of different vehicles. These are brand new spare parts which come from Japan. These spare part are very useful for the people in our community especially those with motor vehicles which have tear and wear or down time. Demand is high and I make profits very fast . I started this business with just ZMW 5000 and today, I am operating with ZMW 25,000.00 because spare parts are highly in demand sale very fast especially the lubricants . The business is highly profitable and I need additional capital to help me buy all what the customers want and meet demand at the shop so that I could make more profit and look after my family very well and my siblings .
Following high demand of auto spare parts , I need to stock up my shop with the following air cleaners, lubricants, bellings, fenders, pistons, steering belts, windscreen, tyres, shock and other spare parts as required by the customers. Therefore I will be making a lot of money or profit to build and grow the business to support my family and pay school fees for siblings. The community will benefit a lot especially the motorist with the availability of spare parts.
