My names are Samuel Odhiambo , i was born in south Nyanza in Migori county , i went to school at uriri primary school and later on i attended St marys yala high school.I spent my childhood playing football with my neighborhood friends. Football was the main game we played apart from hide and seek with the girls.The main hardship i had when growing up was lack of school fees to attend school, i spent most days at home during school sessions due to lack of school fees, i thank God that though it was hard i managed to finish my education both at the primary school level and at secondary school.I later joined Eldoret polytechnic for a course in IT , after the course. I moved to Iten town and started my own computer accessories shop from some money i got from repairing peoples computers in Eldoret town after the two years course.We have a culture of treating visitors well at my place, especially by giving them fermented milk called mursik, we are very hospitable people. Am married with two children and children want to be teachers when they grow up.I love playing football and basketball when am free.
I buy and sell computer parts and accessories.I also buy and sell mobile phone accessories . In Iten town there are no much shops selling this accessories and before people travelled long distances to get this items but now i have made it easier for them to get them.I studied computers and IT and therefore i enjoy my business.My main costs are the cost of bringing in new inventory , the shop rent, and license. I make an income of 30,000KES every month , which i reinvest into the business, the rest i use on my family.
I will buy modems to enable more people in my area get Internet connection . Many people have computers and laptops in my area and many of them are buying these computers and they want to get connected to the Internet but i haven't stocked this items . Each modem costs $10 at wholesale price and i will sell them at $15 , i will buy ten of them and that will cost$100, I believe they will sell quickly as soon as i bring them. The most benefit this will create for my customers is to connect them to the Internet , i really want them to know about wonderful zidisha. My revenue will increase by 10%.
