I am the fourth child in a family of 9 children and I grew up with lots of hardship since my family was financially unstable. Schooled up to four four and went to the city to look for a job but I got a job a watchman and pay pay was poor.I however managed to save $300 after two years, that I used when I went back to my rural area to start my business. I invested the money on poultry farming and managed to build a poultry house and buy layers since the demand for eggs was good. The problem was that I did not have the capacity to manage the farm and lost all the birds,I was really dejected and went back to Nairobi these time round looking for a job as farm assistant. I got a job in poultry farm and learnt a lot, I went back home these time around armed with market knowledge and management skills.

I have one kid and she is only 6 months old,she is growing faster and always smiling.

I love farming and always use my free time guiding youths who are interested in poultry farming on the best practices.

I am small scale poultry farm and I keep layers for eggs.the demand for eggs is high since they are a cheap source of proteins and can be afforded by majority of households.I choose layers business because of readily available market for eggs.

My monthly typical costs are $200 and my monthly typical revenues are average $400-$500 .

I use the proceeds from the business to take care of my family, pay fees for siblings and support my aging parents.

Dear lenders, please advance me a loan of $150. I would spend the$100 I would receive on iron sheets for expansion of my farm.. These would enable me add more birds and avoid overcrowding which lead to death and cannibalism. I would be very grateful for your assistance.Thank you in advance.
