My name Winnsera Wangari Maina, I am 42 years old, am first born in a siblings of five, I studied my primary level education in Njumbi Primary School from 1981-1988 latter I joined Gitongu Mixed High school in Muranga County, from 1989-1992 then entered Helma for Tailoring and fashion collection college in the year 1993-1996 attained Certificate fashion and design in clothing , I acquired hardship through my primary and secondary education due to environment where I was brought up inn, due to shortage basic needs food, water.

I started seeking for employment in 2002 on February in Nairobi where were dealt with selling of imported clothes, and second hand clothes known as (Mitumba), during the period was employed had used to save little I got in a church Sacco known as Ufanisi Saving Self Help Group, for the 3 years in the employment, Latter in 2006 God has enabled me have a saving of $424 (ksh36,000( Thirty six thousand kenya shillings) is there i decided to borrow a loan with my savings which by then was multiplied 3 times of the savings and had qualified for $ 1271 (Ksh108,000 one hundred and eight thousand shilling), I started my own business as an exhibition shop where dealt with selling of ladies imported clothes in the same year 2006 November in Umoja Nairobi. I worked for my own for a period of 1 years as a Manager and a accountant for myself before I employed someone to assist with earning myself $312.5 (Ksh30,000 Thirty thousand shillings Only) per month. unique and culture where I live is that every body is busy with there daily activities struggling with life due to high demand of basic needs, I only have one kid, a girl Recheal Waithira Wangari and she likes being a nurse when he grows up. When am free I like swimming and traveling to discover the nature while making new friends.

My Business

I do sale clothes at Umoja Nairobi Business Center, due to advanced technology I knew when I indulge myself into this type of business its going to boom in a very short time unlike other types of business that you have to wait for its to boom in a period of 6 months this is only 3-4 months considering the population around the environment, to start this business costed me $1562 ksh.150,000,my monthly income in this type of business I have a profit of ksh.$350 ksh35,000 (thirty five thousand shillings only. minimum from this profit is where I get my daily bread for my family up keep, paying rent $150, ksh.15,000 (fifteen thousand shillings only), school fees for my kid primary level Ksh7000 and the other 50% I return to the business by adding stocks, I started with a stock-turnover value of $1562 ksh.150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousands shillings, and it has improved to $4500, ksh.450,000 (four hundred and fifty hundred thousand shillings), by being a member of Zidisha I value it most due to the share am going to have in my account in future so that I can archive my dream of having a company for the same business to be a supplier on the region of Umoja Nairobi.
