My name is Derick Barasa. I went to Mutuya primary school and later joined Nairobi Aviation college for a diploma course. I had the idea of starting a business but with no capital. My uncle helped me raised the starting capital. The main economic activity in western Kenya is farming. We grow maize and sugarcane. I would like my children to go to the best schools and get the best jobs. Football is in my blood

I offer second hand goods. This includes furniture and households items like gas cylinders and sufuria. I am still young in the business and so I need more funds. The goods are in high demand and affordable in terms of the price. The expenditure of around 3000 comes with a return of sh 5500 per week. I use the profit to grow my business and for my daily needs

I will use the funds to expand and grow my business. This will in turn creates more profits thus enabling the growth and flourishes of the business. My children will therefore go to the best schools .Finally, goods will be readily accessible at an affordable price to my community
