Iam an only child. My mother was a drunkard and never cared for anything.I was born and raised in Dandora slums Nairobi.I dropped out of school in class five because i lacked support from my mother. She later passed on due to HIV/aids complications.I immediately got a job as a house girl.I wanted to escape joining a life of crime which is the order of the day at Dandora.I have worked as a house girl for many years. There is one particular family whom i worked for that i truly thank GOD for. This family is in Nanyuki. They took me in as their own child even helped register for primary school classes privately. They paid me and also trained me to do business. When i became of age and from the savings i was putting aside i started my own business.I sell general stuff like hair pieces, serviettes, tissues, caps, sodas, cakes, and some shop items.I am not married yet but hope to do so soon.I like to go to church and sing in the choir.I like to visit orphans and give them a word of encouragement.

I sell hair pieces and beauty products .i also sell caps and belts.I have sodas and cakes. Its more or less like a shop but is dealing with food items like sugar and flour.I lked this kind of business and its location dictated what kind of stuff to sell.My typical costs on a weekly basis are KES 8,000/=.Every week iam able to get an income of KES 5,000/=.I plan to expand gradually and grow the business to a higher level.

I want to purchase six Kenpoly plastic chairs for my customers to sit on while taking sodas and snacks.I will place them outside the shop on the verandah.Customers like to relax a bit may be they are from traveling or from the hot scotching sun as it is right now.It certainly will bring in new clients and make me an income. The cost of one chair is $ 7.Total cost will be $ 42.I hav also some savings to put in to the budget.
