I was born 43 years ago in a small village,I schooled there upto forth form later moved into city and joined college where I did my diploma In mass communication.am a mother of Two.my hobby is cooking and swimming.
Am a chicken farmer, where I provide for children through chicken farming business.i choose this business because it's convenient for me.i sell few trays per day, though feeding nowadays is very expensive.i use eggs profit In paying fees and medical facilities.
I am a small-scale poultry farmer engaged in rearing chickens for both egg and meat production. Poultry farming is my main source of livelihood and plays an important role in supporting my household. However, limited capital has restricted my ability to expand and fully meet the growing demand within my community.
If granted the funds, I will use them to improve and expand my poultry project. The money will be used to purchase quality day-old chicks, poultry feeds, vaccines, and supplements to ensure healthy growth and reduce disease outbreaks. I also plan to improve housing by constructing better poultry sheds to enhance hygiene, safety, and productivity. Part of the funds will support proper feeding systems and basic equipment to improve efficiency.
This project will benefit me by increasing egg and meat production, leading to higher and more stable income. The increased income will help me meet family needs, pay school fees, and reinvest in the business for sustainability.
The community will also benefit through access to affordable, fresh eggs and poultry meat, improved food security, and potential job opportunities, especially for youth assisting in daily farm activities. This funding will therefore support both economic growth and community well-being.
