My name is Beauty Kalale a Zambian female medical Doctor. I was born in chief Kafinda in Serenje district central province on 2nd June, 1984. I'm a very creative and innovative person and always aim high to achieve my life goals.
I started school at Kamwala Primary School in Serenje district and completed my form at St. Monica's Secondary School. While at school I was very brilliant student and always come first in class. Hard working in my academic school work earned me a scholarship to study at Eden University in Lusaka.
When I was a small girl I had the passion of caring for patients and my ambition after completing school was to study medicine and become a medical doctor. Hence during my final school examination in form 5, I performed very well in sciences such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I was very outstanding and selected as one of the best students.
Having graduated with a bachelors degree as general medical doctor , my passion has always been to set a private clinic in our community so that the people in our community can have access to medical services which has alluded them for many years. Working as a medical doctor for 3 years now, I have had the ambition to set up a private clinic so that pregnant women can access antenatal services and safe delivery for mothers and medical care for every one in our community.
I have a small private clinic in our community where the community do access medical services. At this clinic I lack the lab equipment, X-ray machine and the scanning machine The funds needed is to buy these medical equipment to help the people access good medical services at the clinic and save the people's lives in the community. The total cost of these medical equipment is ZMW 15,000.00 to cover the total expenses. Living and working in the remotest part of the country accessing medical services is very difficulty and should I be helped I could help save mothers from maternal death as especially pregnant women in the community mostly who lack antenatal services and go to distance places using the bicycles as there is no transport. Hence bringing the clinic near the door step could help many access medical services and save many lives today in our community.
With the funds I'm applying for I need the Laboratory medical equipment such the X-ray machine and the scanning machine at the clinic in our community. The clinic lacks these machines and it is very difficulty to attend to the patients and to diagnose their illness. Once I'm helped it will help patients receive good medical care services and enhance good performance of work staff at the clinic
