I am from Senegal and have completed the basic schooling here in the country, followed by a training program in the insurance sector. Confronted by the need to find gainful employment, I turned to entrepreneurship with the goal of developing revenue-generating activities. I design projects that will lead to financial autonomy; that will allow me to live a normal life without depending on others for help.
I am currently developing a poultry farming micro-enterprise. I buy two to three days old chickens and I raise them for 45 days. I then sell them on the local market.
The request loan will be used for a poultry farming project. The loan will allow the purchase of:
- two hundred (200) day-old chicks at a unit cost of 500 FCFA BCEAO for a subtotal of 100000 FCFA BCEAO
- six (6) bags of feed at a unit cost of 15000 FCFA BCEAO for a subtotal of 240000 FCFA BCEAO
- feeders and poultry drinking bowls amounting to 35000 FCFA BCEAO
The operations needs to last two months for each 2-kg chicken to be sold for 3000 FCFA BCEAO. The income from sales is projected at 600000 FCFA BCEAO for a net profit per operation of 225000 FCFA BCEAO.
