My name is James Mwanzia David.I am an electrical Engineer with the Kenya power and Lighting company .I grew up and schooled in Machakos County then later came to Nairobi for my college where after that i got employed.I started my farming bussiness because i felt that a single salary was not enough for me and my family.I leased a farm at a place called Ngoliba about 80 kms from nairobi town which is near a permanent river that supplies my farm with water.Over the weekends i am at my farm and on weekdays when at work my farm manager takes care of things.
My business is farming as well as supply of farm produce to the market here in Nairobi.I am also employed with kenya power and lightining company as an electrical Engineer.I therefore would like to borrow to add on my farm acrage and buy seeds and fertilizers as well as farm chemicals.
Below is what i would like to do with my new loan
Ferilizers @usd 100 his includes CAN,DAP and top dressing
Chemicals @USD100her are a wide range of this from fungicides o acaricides
Increasing farm land @ USD100.we lease at ksh 10000 per year which is wo rain seasons.
he remaining USD100 plus wha i have saved his far will go labour
With the above loan i would like to buy
fertilizers ie DAP,CAN and NPK for usd 100
farm chemicals ie Belt,Confidor and folliar feeds at usd 100
Lease of an extra piece of land for usd 100
labour for land preparation @usd 50
petro for water pump @usd 50
after all this is done my crop will soon be out in the market and the ones in the nursery will now be transplanted to the new piece of land.
