My name is Allan Otila, currently i am astudent at kenyatta university taking abarchellor degree course in barchellor of commerse. in school we face various challenges the main one being financial obligations,it is with these reasons that i decided to look for my own source of income thus i landed my self into business. in our school or even the village where i come from, as youths we have that mindset that after school we will get full employment from the government where in real sense we are deceiving ourself, therefore self employment is the only solution to such apoor mindset.

i sell shoes in nairobi city, i ballance my books of accounts per week, on saturdays that is.after that i deposit my profits into personal accounts. Its through the profits that i earn aliving and even pay my scool fees for higher education.( part time learner).

I like the business because i am my own boss, i get consumers complainns directly,it help me know my customers tastes and prefferences.

i decided to join this business after i had finished my high school studies and was unable to further my studies due to financial obligations. personal savings were my main source of capital.

I'm in shoes and clothes business in km markets, i have gone through several challenges in upgrading my business. step by step i have managed to rent a space for my business and its picking so nicely, currently i dont have enough cash to renew my business licene, that allows me to opperate the business smoothly, this loan together with the little savings i have, will help me in renewing my licence. thanks.
