my name is Charles Ikenye, i was born in 1984 in Nderi Kikuyu, Kiambu county. Started schooling in Nderi Primary School and later to Saint Lukes Secondary School. I have studied Mass Communication up to a diploma level in WILNAG Media Training school. i have done productions for KBC NTV and KTN.
I am married to Leah Ikenye and together we have one son Nekatrios.We live in Kasarani.
I am the Chief Executive Officer of DEROMEO Media based in Nairobi where i do audio-visual projects. i offer video and still photography coverage to individual, group and corporate occasions and activities. The only problem i have is having my own equipments and i want to start buying my own equipments and stop hiring. The problem with hiring is that, you can have a business but when going to get the equipments i find the owner have already rent them to someone else. Sometimes when the owner sees the desperation of need, they can hike prices.
I make between 225$ and 445$ in a month.
I love this job because i do it with passion and my customers prefer me and also recommend my job to any other person in need of audio-visual services
Following inconveniences caused by hiring of equipments, where sometimes owners of equipments commit their equipments making my services really hard.
That is the reason i want to start equipping my company with small things like lights and rigs. Eventually i will have equipped the company to a point of being self reliant. That will not only help in being effective but will also help me make money when am not have projects to do when i will be hiring them out.
That is the reason why I want to start buying Lights for my company; this will go a long way of starting equipping Deromeo Media for effective execution of services.
