Hello I am Veronica Milimo a single mother of 3 beautiful daughters. My past has been tough as my parents died before I could complete my secondary education. I have been pushing myself since then to sustain a living. I thought I had found a husband/partner who I will grow with and help with a good life hood but no, all was shattered when he started seeing another woman and decided to marry her leaving me with the children to take care of alone. So my focus now is to improve my business and provide for my children.

I am currently dealing with cosmetics and ladies accessories. I order some Arabic perfumes from local wholesalers in town and stock in my shop here in chawama market a quite busy area. At least I manage to raise for the rentals, restocking and paying for my kids school fees. Having many salons around the market I want to order some wigs and hair extensions to upgrade my shop as there is a high demand for them currently and I hope Zidisha will help me with this project.

I am really grateful for my business projects that have been funded so far atleast the shop is growing and the ladies have different products to choose from, wig, cosmetics, accessories to mention a few. With these funds I want to restock the perfumes in the shop, I have a supplier in Tanzania that sends me the perfumes on the bus to Lusaka. The perfumes are fast selling because they are long lasting and original. The profit that comes out helps sustain me and the children with the daily needs while the other money is reinvested in the shop.
