I am Ebenezer Arthur and I come from Abeadze Odumasi in the Central region of Ghana. I had my primary education at Kotobabi 1& 2 Primary at Kotobabi and A.M.E Zion J.H.S in Kasoa. I furthered my education to National Technical engineering college and then to Maranatha University College. Through the hard work of my parents and myself, I was able to reach this far. I couldn't relaxed until I finally saw what I can do for myself, my family and my community. Today I owe GLoDeB Mission International an N.G.O. All my life I wanted to work on my own. And my father too did not like working for people. Due to poverty I have to work for some one to earn a living. Still I am not comfortable working for people . In 2014 I started a goat rearing farm with just one pregnant goat. In Ghana people like to celebrate those who have made it and our culture never encourage innovation in the youth. If you tell your dream there are people to kill it by their words. Some wants to be Nurese, Military personels , Pastors and Journalists
GLoDeB Mission International (Farm Project) is a community-based organization, which started in 2011.
This Project was involved in large-scale Pineapple farming at Hobor in the Greater Accra Region in the Ga South Municipality in Ghana and also involved in developing poor children by supporting them with their basic school needs like books and stationeries.
Production of meat is, however, insufficient to meet local annual demand of about 200,000 tons. GLoDeB through this farming project will produce more meat to address this issue. This will also give employment to 3 youth and generate income to support some poor children in their education.
In Ghana, goats play an important role in the food production systems. Its popularity can be explained by their good adaptation to many different climates (ecological adaptation) and uses for which they can be kept.
Goat (chevron) is highly patronized by revellers of “chop bar” in all the regions across the nation. This point to the fact that a big market exist for the meat in Ghana
The total Budget for this Project is
GHS 25, 340.00. The ptofit would be use to restock the farm in the future
Depending on the availability of funds, the project intends to embark on the raising of livestock (Goats).
