Am Asante Collins from Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I was born to Mr.Asante Bernard and Mrs. Mary Asante in the year 1982 on the 20th of March in the same town. I started my primary school education in one of the state owned schools in Kintampo. Everything was on the move until a calamity befell our family when I was about to enter into junior high school. My father, who was the breadwinner of the family lost his life through car accident when he was returning from as a civil servant. I was able to complete junior high school with difficulties and hardships. Gradually i entered into senior high school and passed out with a lot of hardships. After senior high school I couldn't get into tertiary institution. So I went to learn a trade from someone who was into tailoring. Although it was demanding but I struggle to finish successfully within three years.

After finishing with the trade, I had to get my own shop and machine to start my own business. But another problem was to how to get these things. So I therefore applied for "a work and pay" in order to save money to start my own. After two years I was able to do something small to begin my business. In fact I was enjoying my business as a dressmaker when I started but unfortunately I was robbed one day when my single machine and some valuable items were stolen. My business has since retrogress totally. I can't even get money to buy certain things that will help uplift my business in order to not to go back in those hardships i passed through before getting here. I would there be very greatful if zidisha could assist me with a loan to facilitate my business , I strongly believe that it would happen.

If the loan is successfully funded, it would help me a lot as it would be used to buy machine and some other stolen items. Not only these but also it would be used to buy materials (clothes) to keep the business alive. My shop would also be expanded if the loan is funded in order to employ some people who dnt have work to do in the community.
