My name is caroline njoki am social and
hardworking woman from maai mahiu town in Kenya. I had intest to start
a small grocery shop to earn a living i have been doing this for now for 3
to 9 years . i finished my high school grade in 2002 now i had desire
to study Agrobusiness training. may life has had many chalenges
where by i didnt have enough money to meet my needs . due to this
life chalenges i started a Grocery shop in my village am kindly
requesting Zidisha lenders to support me to improve my business
and in able for me to support my family .am a single woman with
siblings to care for. feed and pay school fees .i love reading
magazines ,singing songs, socialising and making new friends.
ever since I started this business I have been greatly earning
big. the place where i run my shop is becoming smaller and needs
enlargement to have stores to keep other goods the place is to
squezed i would need timber ,cement,nails, steel windows,a table
and chairs and some money to pay the workers when given this
loan i plan to buy other items which are on demand at my grocery
shop am selling in plenty and rush to the market often to buy items
and now we are on the month of May and june.where its rainy and i
would need anothe extra store in my shop.
Dear Zidisha, if given this loan. I would like to rent firm land and
plant beans ,maize potatoes ,millet,green vegetables.I also would
continue selling at my grocery shop and increase my
revenue.Customers are increasing every day from up county others
are visiting their relatives here at maai maai mahiu town in Kenya .Am also
getting orders from schools around my community to supply
maze,beans and cabbages for lunch. The rains mainly
start in the month of March and April renting an acre is ksh 8000 to
10000 i will add more money to this when time to planting comes
