I am John Boakye. I am from Nsuta Mampong in the Ashanti region of Ghana in West Africa. I had my elementary school at Nsuta M/A Primary School in my hometown. I was able to complete the elementary school but I could not continue school because of family financial problems. I am now a married man with two kids. My goal is to provide for my family.
After being introduced by a friend and reading about Zidisha, I have come to acknowledge the fact that it is really here to help the world. After I researched about commodities that are fast-moving consumer goods, I discovered selling eggs and chicken is a good business. I have acquired land and have built a structure that can house about 500 birds, but I need to expand the business. I have to put up another structure that can house about 1000 birds. This structure is 60% complete.
With this loan I am going to use to buy my birds feeds such as maize, wheat bran, rice bran, copra cake, soya bean and fish meal. And I will use 130 USD for maize, 50 USD for wheat bran, 30 USD for rice bran, 40 USD for copra cake, 35 USD for soya bean and 35 USD fish meal. Thank you so much.
