I am Gladys nyamoita mogute , i am a Kenyan citizen born the year 1980, in a small village called kenyenya within kisii south, kisii county. i did my fourth form from magena high school after which i was not able to join college due to financial difficulties as my poor parents could afford to educate me up to that level. after dropping from high school i opened a salon which generated for me some small income, this helped my family because my young siblings could now go to school through my support. my daughters too could get better basic needs through the support from my salon. B the year 2010 i moved to the capital city of Kenya Nairobi where i changed my business to selling of cereals because it is more profitable. I come from a village where female genital mutilation is being practice, i look forward to educate my children and my siblings who are both aiming to be a better educated member of the society to eradicate F GM in the near future when they grow up. I like reading novels and watching encouraging movies during my free time, i do give encouraging an motivational talks to widowed organize groups.
I run a cereal shop where i sell all kinds of cereals products like muthokoi, dengu, groundnuts, beans millet. i found this kind of business more profitable as most of the people living around my locality consume them daily. the business is easy to operate. The typical cost of my business entails
cost for paying rent for my stall
cost for adding stock/ inventory
ii use the profit to pay for my daily expenses, school fees and supporting my siblings.
