Madina is a one of the city in Accra , the capital of Ghana, and i [Bediako Frank ] come from that locality. My entire life in the cities of Accra was an absolute dedication to Business and that business is the OKADA business. After i returned from Nigeria everything came crashing down. i had no money on me and my family too was a very poor family that cannot afford the three square meal.

i was a hard working man but lack the support from family and friends i needed a starter but no one was there to give me a helping hand. i then decided not to give up so i join some construction company and helping in the , carrying of concrete mortar just to eke a living . Even though i had that tough experience far back when i was in SHS , i carried mortar and stones for one and half year until i finally move to the Tema ports as a loading boy, I also help in loading of goods into containers for exports.

i work there for another 1year until the contract ended.

life was still tough for me since i could not make any savings from those menial jobs i took to. it was a hand to mouth job . I could not afford my house rent owings up to 8 months, The plea for extension was exhausted and i was then thrown out from the house.

in fact i nearly gave up until one fateful Saturday morning i chance upon Mr Kennedy Agyapong , a politician and a renowned MP of Assin Fosu, who had some series of conversation with me and ask me to come over to the house on Sunday.

Sunday came , i went to his house to do some job for him and in return of appreciation, he handed over a motorbike to me for my OKADA business which i gist to him on the very Saturday of our meeting. indeed i was happy and thank him so much.

It is this same motorbike that i started using it for my OKADA business for the pass 2 years now. the machine is good i always maintain on time servicing . i made good turnover of about GHS 620 a week which is dollar in 163 USD a week . i work very hard and make good sales for myself and always make good savings too.

the OKADA business is gaining grounds as more people are getting into the business day in day out. sometimes when it is market days and sometimes fridays because of the traffic jam in town people prefer the OKADA than the normal vehicle or taxi. i really make a lot more added turnover.

since the OKADA business is good i in turn to acquire another one that i will employ another person to handle the other machine at a different vantage location for the same buisness. this will actually increase my returns to about 35% of my total turnover and i hope this in a way will be an added advantage of employing someone who would have being unemployed. thank you.

i will use my first load to set as a seed capital in other for the release of the second motor bike on credit of which i will gravely work very hard to increase my turnover in oder to meet the stated repayment schedules so in barely few months i shall begin to use the proceeds to offset my first loan with zidisha.
