My name is Emmanuel Kofi Asamoah. I am a 27 year old Ghanaian gentleman. I am a senior high school leaver seeking to further my education to a higher institution of study. I am the only child of my parents. I hail from wenchi which is an important town in Ghana’s political history. It has Dr Kofi Abrefa busia who is one of the front liners who fought for the nation’s independence hailing from that town . I completed senior high school in the 2008 has not been able to further my education to the tertiary level since then. After senior high school, I used to help my father who is a farmer in his cashew farm. It was later that I gained a contract under the government of Ghana to work as a volunteer under the better Ghana policy. The contract however expired two years later and has not been renewed since then. Life was a little tough then after and I have to move into the business of selling recharge cards and credit transfer. It is what has survived me till now and I hope one day I can further my education through this little business I am doing.
I am into the business of selling recharge cards. Some of the mobile networks that I sell their cards are MTN, Glo, Vodafon, Tigo, Airtel among others. I usually pick the cards from retailers and I sell them to customers. I usually get a profit of about 5 to 15 pesewas from each credit card I sell. Because the site where I do my business is a very good one, I usually get profit of between 10 to 15 cedis a day. I currently do not have a shop where I do my business therefore I have acquired a small table and an umbrella for my business. Through this small business of mine I am able to support my family in various ways and I thank God for that. I hope to expand my business to include mobile money as this is a good profit earning venture.
Mobile money business is one of the most profitable tredding businesses in Ghana now. I have been in the credit card selling business for some time now and I wish to add the mobile money business. From my enquiries, I will need about 3000 cedis, 1500 being physical cash and the remainder being electronic. I would therefore be very grateful if lenders will help me accomplish this dream. Thank you.
