My names are Doreen Nasikia Ngutuku from Nasianda village. I am a health worker by profession but not fully employed by Kenyan government. I only assist or volunteer at a health center at my place while my husband teaches at kakamwe secondary school( Bishop Philip Anyolo secondary school) . I was brought up at Bungoma but am now married at Nasianda village of Namunyiri in Tongaren. I love basketball as my favorite and childhood hobby. I developed an idea of putting up M-pesa business because it needs little attention especially if a worker is employed and it is also profitable especially if combined with other products like mobile phones.

Apart from my regular professional work, I also run an M-pesa business but my youngest sister operates it since I rarely have time to operate it due to tight schedule at work. I also sell mobile phones in the same business so as to add income. Recently I closed it down temporarily because I ran out of cash after the previous worker that I had employed vanished with all cash plus some mobile phones. I opened it again after my young sister agreed to assist. she's faithful and the business is doing very well. My husband also supports my business with his salary. After combining business profit, husband's income and my salary, we agree on how to utilize it. Some of the uses include improvement of stock, bank savings and planning to further education.

I currently run an M-pesa business and it is doing fine. in order to supplement my little income as a health worker and my M-pesa profits, I decided to introduce pumpkin business. I grow them but now realize I can make some money out of it . I wish to use 60USD to buy more pumpkin seeds. 40USD to set up a kiosk whereby sometimes I display vegetables at the market or sell them directly from the farm. 30USD to buy some fertilizer
