Am Joseph Annor, 27 years of age and although government employed still loves and believes in entrepreneurship and self employment. I started life in a village in Ghana in the Offinso municipality. Life was not all that easy since my mum and dad were not able stay together for quite a long time in marriage. I completed senior high school in 2009. Back at senior high school, it was very difficult to pay my fees and I had to resort to selling firewood to food venders before I was able to raise some money for my fees. Other times good heart persons helped me in paying my fees. After completing senior high school, life became more harder. My mother being a single parent was not able to cater for a family of six (6). I therefore had to feed myself. I used to be a lorry mate in order to make ends meet. By this I was able to enter into the police service and passed out in 2011. I am now a commander in the service. I hail from a family of 6, of which I am the only male. I have four other siblings and they are all girls. I am the bread winner of the family since I am the only male. I therefore thought it wise to add something to my government work in order to be able to always cater for the needs of the family.
I am into the business of selling mobile phones and accessories. Mobile phones has been one of the most patronized items in my country and locality to be precise. I started this business by picking some few mobile phones from a friend’s shop and selling it to friends and other people who would make the request. It was later that by God’s grace I was able to get a small shop where I displayed the few phones that I had. Since I am the bread winner of the family that I hailed from, it was very difficult to find any huge capital to invest into it. Currently, my small shop is stocked with phones. I have hired someone who attends to customers who visit the shop. My shop is located at Ejisu, a town in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Business is moving on well especially with the selling of phone parts and accessories. I would like to extend this business to other parts of the country in other to bring people closer to the world through technology. By this I will be able to make good profit to in order to take care of the family of which I have virtually become the bread winner. I promise to execute and respect the rules and regulation of this noble institution. Thank you.
As I said earlier, I am into the business of selling mobile phones. I would like to get a loan to invest into my business. I would use the loan to get mobile phone accessories such as ear phones, batteries, chargers, phone covers, screen protectors etc to stock my shop. By this I will be able to increase my customer base and profit base. I believe lenders would do me a great favor by funding my loan in order for me to achieve this. I promise to abide by any conditionality involved and promise never to disappoint my lenders. Thank you.
