My name is Philip Musau. I was born in Makueni but moved with my parents to Nairobi when I was 5 years old. I am the middle child in a familg of 5. I am married to one wife Jane Mary and we are blessed with one daughter Kanini, she is my pride and joy. I love farming and reading books. My favourite job in the whole world is raising my daughter. I attended Arap Moi high primary school and then proceeded to Masai boys high school in Kajiado. I live in Ongata Rongai.
I sell cooking gad cylinders. I have rented a shop in our market center Turskys where I sell the cooking gas. Cooking gas cylinders are used for cooking in many homes in Kenya due to its efficiency and speed. I buy my cookong gas cylinders and refill them at local petrol stations. I buy them at 1500 KES for the small gas cylinder of 4kgs and 2000 KES for the 6Kgs gas cylinders. I sell the one for 6kgs at 3000 KES and the one for 6kgs at 5000 when full. When they are empty i sell them at 2500 KES and 3500 KES respectively. I make profit of between 1500 to 2000 KES. If a customer has his own gas cylinder i exchange for them with a full one at 1250KES for 4kgs and 1500 KES for 6kg.
If I get the money I will use 10,000 KES to restock more gas cylinders. I Will use 7000KES to pay rent for my shop. I will use 1000 to renew all my business permits. I will use 5000KES to pay rent for my house. I will use the remaining amount to buy shopping for the family and also pay electricity bill for the house.
