Growing in a small village ,some 50 kilometers from Nairobi,i went through many problems because my parents were poor.I was bright students but i was forced to drop out of education system to become employed by a successful business man to be hawking along the streets of major sub urban centers .
I used to earn commission ,and sometimes i could go without any money if i fail to sell..
I learnt several survival tactic ,where i could buy my merchandise and mix with my boss' to make some profits also..i did not do the business for long time because i thought the business only benefited my boss.
I left business some two years ago and i have been growing learning new ways of doing business along the solid foundation that i had laid through the self training that i nurtured during the time that we were working the business man.
I have been doing well until i realized that i if i get some boost it would work well for me.That when i learned about the zindisha community .I decided to try.I would very grateful to lenders who would volunteer to take me to the next level.
My business is about providing almost anything that my customers want.But i specialize with clothing and small useful highly sell able product usually imported.
This goods are useful because they are used on daily basis by many people.
I chose this business because i had an early experience in it and i have. Passion for business since my school years.
I use my profit to support the house hood needs and plan for my future.In our kikuyu culture we value hard work ,and i would want to uphold this values.I want to able to provide for my need full.I have a hope of giving back to the community through charitable work.My call is to donate some surplus to a local orphanage.I have helped teach young boys to grow the spirit of good entrepreneur.
I established the business with only 20$ and have grown to a level of 200$ turn offer.However some social obligation require s me to source capital to re boost it.
With 82000ksh,I will allocate 20,000 for men's jeans,10000ksh for mens Inner ware ,30000ksh for stylish skirts for young ladies,.
I will use 10,000ksh to facelift my shop, with new shelves to accommodate more clothes.10000 ksh will be standby liquid .I also have 30,000 worth of capital in store.
