My name is Victor Omondi. I was raised and born in Mombasa. I am 26 years old. I have six siblings. I am the 5th born. Two sisters and 4 brothers. I went to Muslim Academy and completed my primary education there. I went to Pwani boys high school but dropped out due to lack of school fees. I never went to University due to lack of school fees and my parent's death. I love swimming and scuba diving. I love the ocean because of its tranquility and and cool breeze. I live in Bamburi, Mombasa. I live with two of my siblings. I love going for long walks too.
I am a fruit vendor, my business entails selling fruits such as Mangoes, coconut, passion and pineapple, sometimes I also sell vegetables. I sell my fruits in a cart that I push from one place to another, I sell them between Bamburi, Kisauni and Kongowea. I buy my fruits mostly in Kongowea Open Market. I buy one fruit at 10 or 15 depending on the season. I sell them at 30 KES or 40KES thereby making a 100% profit. Fruit business flourish in Mombasa because of the heat. People tend to eat more fruits and drink water to cool down. I enjoy doing my business. Mainly because I keep my customers healthy with supply of fresh fruits.
I will buy a new cart since the one I use to sell my fruits is old and falling apart. A new cart cost around 9000 KES. I will use 7000 to buy fridge that I will use to keep my fruits fresh. I will buy 3000 KES to buy blender because I would like to start also selling fruit juice. The rest of the money I will pay my rent and also buy food and shopping for me and my siblings. This loan will boost my business two fold.
