My childhood life was difficult ,my parents divorced when I was young and I was raised single handily with my late mother. Although we could spend some days with no food mum always struggled to make me and my young sister g to school. After my deferment from college I almost gave up in life for I knew I could not afford to make the required money,I joined Yolee youth group and we received training on poultry production.We could also make contributions and get loans, I took a loan of $100 and bought 5 mature hens and a cock,i did not have a poulty house and so I always spend my nights with the birds in my house.After a few days the all started laying eggs and then brooding. I was able to get my first set of 60 chicks from 5 birds , 10 died and 50 successfully grew. I am now in my final year at the university ,courtesy of poultry farming.
I play basket ball during my free time, I also love reading novels and watching movies.
I keep indigenous poultry in my farm and sell fertilized eggs and live poultry for meat. I mainly sell the cocks to avoid inbreeding and buy cocks for breeding.
