Due to hard work, I was called several names in town but the most popular of all is "AHOFE"I had confidence in myself that I could do something better for a living. My earnings were all derived from the hairdressing.
I weave hair and make different hair styles, pony is part of the styles and from my shop it is one of the decent styles ever . Dormaa Ahenkro ,which is dominated with a lot of government employees and poultry farmers are a major source of customers. Business is most encouraging when one has a reasonable capital. I entered into this business with few of the Ghana CEDI's and l make daily sales of about ghc70 to ghc100 a day both from the sale of items from the cosmetics store and from the hairdressing. I use part of the profit I make to pay school fees of my wards and some to keep the business running. The remaining which is the excess is used to feed the family.
I weave hair and dress hair as well. I will therefore need to buy artificial hair for weave on $24, I will buy six gallons of shampoo for washing the hair of my customers $21. I will buy hair creams $11. Most of my customers use to ask of body creams so I will buy body cream $12.
