My name is Stephen Owusu. I come Biadan, a suburb of Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Rgion of Ghana. I grew up in my village biadan where i still have lived till today. Life is always tough and hard in the villages of Ghana and Africa as a whole. So school going was very difficult for me because of my parents inability to afford to pay my school fees. But they did manage to help me from junior high school to senior high school and was the end, where they could they take me to. I started farming from there and have done this since. Biadan is a farming community so we celebrate "Bayere" festival, that is yam festival where people come from all words of life to see.

I want my children to have better education, so as the orphans in my village, in Biadan Children Home where i am assisting with food stuffs and small money.

I am only a farmer, i grow variety of crops, from vegetables to cashew and these fetch me an average income of around 300 dollars every year.

I use this revenue to take care of my family and my community as whole because i have been assisting the orphans in the Biadan childrens home since 2010 till date because i see them to be vulnerable more than my own children because at least my children have gotten both parents alive to comfort and keep them around whenever they are in need.

I will use part of this loan if i am offered to buy more mosquito nets to add it to what they have now because their numbers keep increasing day by day.

Part of the money will also be use to buy first aid drugs for the home.

Also, i would use part of the money to hire a carpenter to help maintain their beds.
