I am Kelvin Atambo from Kenya born in a family of three. I am the 2nd born.My parents are both peasant farmers, they have worked tirelessly to ensure I have reached where I am. My elder sister got married at a young age.My parents weren't able to support both of us due to low income they receive. My young brother on the other hand is in class 6 and benefits from free primary education.My high school study was funded by the community development fund(CDF) partly and community help. I'm on normal program in campus.I receive Higher education loan board(HELB loan) which isn't really enough.Am not able to fully finance my campus fee and exams are approaching soon.
with my first Helb loan I received I started a grocery shop in campus area.The money I receive helps in my upkeep in campus and part of it I send to my parents back home to support them in their advanced age
I want to save and invest money into Zidisha so that in future I receive enough money to pay for my fee
