People call me Addo Sarah, that is my family name but popularly call chancy. I m Senior high School graduate. As a young girl I develop interest in drugs and fortunate my father has drug store when my dad died I was asked to take control. I have been in this business since.

I sell all manner of drugs including locally manufacturing drugs approved by the Ghana standard board Authority. The drugs I sell selves both people in the Dormaa Ahenkro township and also people from nearby villages and towns. Because my drug store is sited near Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital, most of the drugs prescribed by doctors to patience which are not covered by the national health insurance are all bought in my shop. I chose this kind of job because I had the desire to becoming a medical Doctor but because that dream was shattered, I saw the other way to help my people is to sell drugs and that I new this could help me raise some money to cater for my children. I started selling drugs with a loan amount of Ghc6000. But now my capital has increased to arround Ghc8000. I make sales of about Ghc700 a day and on Tuesdays which is the market day, I makes of sometimes Ghc1000 and Ghc1200. Some people from nearby villages and towns come to buy in larger quantities to retail in their respective areas of abode. I use part of the profit I make to pay for my Ward's school fees and part of it is used to buy food and clothes for the family. The remainder of the profits I make also goes back into buying more drugs.

I want buy pain killers at $30, spirit for wound dressing at $25, blood tonics at $24. These items will give me good market and will get some profits to pay my children's school fees next term. I expect my profit to go up by about 90%
