Hello All! My name is Delight Ako and I am from Kpando in the Volta Region of Ghana. I am 22 years of age. I had my high school at Mawuli Senior High School and graduated in 2013. After my graduation, I could not proceed to the tertiary institution due to financial constraints so I took a teaching job which I did for a while. After which I also worked as a sales attendant in a supermarket for sometime. I then had the opportunity to travel to Kuwait in order to work as a house help for two years where I was able to gather some income which I used to set up a provision shop which I am currently operating. I am hoping to continue my tertiary education with returns from the business and support from Zidisha loans.
Upon my return from Kuwait, I have set up a provision shop in my area that I sell items that are needed daily by homes in the area. To be able to add more stock to the shop so as to increase my profit, I am requesting for assistance from lenders in order to increase my stock and also purchase new items into the shop that are in demand.
This loan will be used to restock my shop and also pay up my admission fee for the tertiary education level.
As I stated earlier, there is a demand for new products in my shop that I currently do not have and also I need to increase my stock in order to increase my profits. When I am able to get new products that customers search for when they come to my shop, I will also increase my customer base significantly.
I am starting my tertiary education this year and will need part of this loan to add to my existing money in order to make my admission payment. Education is key to anyone's development and I am motivated to take this step.
I will repay this loan back on time from profits I will make from sales from my shop.
Thank You!
