Mine name is Appiah Korankye Shadrack a Ghanaian by birth and lives in it city called Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region . Am the second child after mine elder sister. Life seemed a little bit comfortable whiles growing up as a child but turn upside down into sorrows and regret after our parents become late when I was in class six in the primary school 2003. I lost mine beloved mum 0n 26th Jan 2003. As if that wasn't enough mine father who out of the love he had for mine mum couldn't control his emotions rather than to commit suicide by taking an unknown chemical on the 3rd May 2003 a day before mine birthday. I have always tried to forget about the death of mine father but all efforts has yielded nothing in the extent that his death comes before mine birthday. So when ever mine birthday is approaching I remember that faithful afternoon mine dad took his own life out of the love he had for mine mum. Life became unbearable afterwards such that mine only dependant was mine grand mum and mine elder sister who was in her teens and has just finished senior high school. Little by little I was able to complete junior high school . Life now became even harder as all hope was lost when I got admission to senior high school with a distinction in all subjects. By with hard effort of mine granny and mine sister they were able to raise some money for mine admission by selling clothes in mine grand mothers trunk. I went through hardship but by grace of God was able to pull through which got me admission into college to read medical laboratory. The hardship continued but I trusted in God and with mine determination got me a diploma in medical laboratory. Currently I've not been posted by government after completing school for 2 years now and in other to survive in work as laboratory technician in a private hospital and also goes on educational talks on hepatitis B to cooperate bodies and those who are interested to take the vaccination I do the vaccination and get something small for mine pocket

I work in private hospital but fetches me small income . As a result of this is would like to establish mine own laboratory so as to get enough income to cater for mine siblings and family so as to devoid the from going into the hardship I went through. By so doing i can give some sort of bench training to mine younger ones to join me in mine laboratory so as to equip them and also to fetch them income within.

I plan to increase the number of test kit's I purchase for my medical screening precisely hepatitis B screening. This will go along way to help me extend ma wings to screen everyone thereby knowing their hepatitis B status. This will help me create awareness in the community and also help me to generate income .i will use 22.43 dollars to buy the test kits and use 2.02 dollars for mine transport
